Flo Lloyd-Hughes – Episode 4
Flo Lloyd-Hughes is a freelance Sports journalist, Broadcaster and Consultant who works across a variety of projects in football and women's sport. Flo’s expertise in sports journalism and broadcasting have seen her achieving regular assignments with BBC Radio London, the BBC Women's Football Show and the Guardian Football Weekly podcast.
Flo’s love of football and long-standing advocacy for a better representation of women and minority ethnic groups working within the sports industry have been fuelled by her part-time role at the charity Women in Sport. A UK based charity who campaign to give every woman and girl the opportunity to experience the transformational rewards of sport.
Flo balances her impressive work as a Sports journalist, Broadcaster and Consultant with an editorial role at SEASON zine, an independent football and fashion zine.
In this fourth episode of In Her Corner, we’ll talk to Flo about her passion for women’s football and why it is important for the sports media business to make key changes that will enable us to achieve a sustainable legacy for women’s football.
