Laura McQueen is the Managing Director of Leaders, a premium content and conference platform for leaders working on and off the field in professional sport. Leaders aim to connect the key stakeholders in sport to catalyse conversations and connections which shape the future of sport. In her current role Laura oversees the day to day operations of the business, as well as working with the board on the strategic direction of the organisation.

More recently Laura and the team have been working with partners Facebook to evolve the Leaders Meet Diversity series, which has the goal of inspiring and connecting the next generation of leaders in sport, educating the industry and galvanising organisations who have a shared goal of a more diverse and inclusive future. 

Prior to joining Leaders, Laura worked in marketing roles across global media brands including Marketing Week, Creative Review and Design Week on brand strategy, audience development, digital product development and live experiences. 

In this thirteenth episode of In Her Corner, we talk to Laura about the growing pains of becoming a leader, using your position and influence as a leader in business to better promote diversity, equity and inclusion and evolving Leaders’ proposition to attract a more diverse audience.
